Beat hard mode and go to the Title Screen without resetting or turning off the power. Choose options to get the new difficulty setting.
Hard Mode
Start a new game and complete it. Go back to the title screen without resetting or turning off the power. The new mode will be under Options.

Dark Megaman and alot of Zenny
At the when at the market place kick cans into the bakery. Repeat over and over. Eventually Megamans armor will turn dark blue or even Black. When you finish you should have alot of Zenny. If you do something good in the game Megaman will go back to normal so you will need to repeat this cheat.

See through doors
When you are in the ruins at any time you have a door in front of you and you want to know if there is an enemy in front of it or something, rotate the camera slightly until you can see through it. You can do this on most doors.
