During any normal (I.E., non-cinematic) dialog, press select to view the portrait of the character who is talking. (However, the portrait will appear somewhat discolored, as it is meant to have the brown window shading over it; for example, Clive's hair will appear black, and Virginia's hair will look a very deep red).

Alternate Songs
Go to the save screen and press Circle two times. When asked if you want to continue answer YES. Then the screen will turn black, quickly press L2 , L1 , R2 , R1 , Circle , Square , X , Triangle.The song will now change to someone whistling instead of singing.
