Beck's Free Kick Cheat
This only works near the edge of the box, but it's an almost guaranteed goal.
Use Beckham. This only works on the edge of the 18-yard box. Line up your player so he is facing towards the side of the goal that the goalie is not guarding. Now, with a delicate tap of the (O) button the ball will fly into the goal. The defensive wall will jump over the ball leaving the goalie somewhat furious.
Nine times out of ten this will result in a goal being scored, which is somewhat better than most players' real-life free kicking.

This mode allows you to pit your saved Master League teams against any National side. To unlock it, win the Master League Division One with any of your teams.

More Realistic Japanese Facial Models
Win the Asian Cup as Japan to unlock several new facial models in edit mode, you can now use Edit Mode to give the Japanese squad a more authentic look.

Edit Club Team Call Names
This mode enables you to change the name that the commentator refers to each club team by. It is found in the Edit Club Team screen and it means that Man Utd. are no longer the laughably monikered ''Aragon''. Arsenal fans will still have to make do with ''London'' though. Only the names of famous cities are available, to avoid licensing issues that would arise from including the real club team names.
To unlock this feature you have to win the ''Konami UMBRO Cup'' under these conditions: • Club teams must be used. • Round Robin format is selected.
There is no limit upon the number of teams used, so to keep it short play a small tourney with 3 teams.
