At the title screen, point to the knothole in the tree and press B. Press B repeatedly and you will hear different tunes.

Shoot lemmings with the super scope
you can shoot the lemmings using the super scope, they will explode as if they were bombers. just for fun, but if you're stuck and don't want a perfect score it may come in handy... like in the last egypt level.

Lemming voice text.
All you need to do is use the cursor on the title screen to select the dot in the "i" in "Lemmings". When you do this, your cursor will temporarily say "Hi" to indicate you have done it right. This makes text appear above any Lemmings' head whenever it says something.
