Hold B until the pointer begins to flash. Then, select a piece from your opponent's field and press A to release it.

View the Art Gallery (Japanese version only)
To see the art gallery (in Jigsaw Party), press B, X, Y, A on the HORI logo in that exact order. If done correctly, the background will turn yellow and you will be taken to a screen where you can see the puzzles in the game by genre and number. You must reset in order to play the game normally.
