Code works on all of the games in the collection on their easier settings, but only works once per level.

Unlockables in Gradius IV

Gradius IV has unlockables. You must complete the following tasks and finish your game. That means if you don´t die, you won´t unlock anything, even if you have a saved game after completing the task. You should be careful too: If you load a game without a now unlocked feature, you will lose it again if you finish your game.

Get This	By Doing This
Boss Rush	Complete the game.
Stage Select	Complete the game.

Unlockables in Gradius III

Gradius III has unlockables. You must complete the following tasks and finish your game. That means if you don´t die, you won´t unlock anything, even if you have a saved game after completing the task. You should be careful too: If you load a game without a now unlocked feature, you will lose it again if you finish your game.

Get This	By Doing This
Stage Select	Complete the game.
Extra Edit	Complete the game. You will be able to choose more weapons in Extra Mode.
Gradius	Get hit by a shot of the last boss. It´s part of the first level from Gradius.
Salamander	Get hit by a shot of the last boss. It´s part of the first level from Salamander.
Extra Mode	Survive until level 9. Here you will see most of unlockables.
Cube Attack	Survive until level 9. It´s the cube attack from level 9.

Gradius Gaiden has unlockables. You must complete the following tasks and finish your game. Stage Select	Complete the game on Normal or higher.

Gradius III - Easy Final Boss

Put the ship in the middle of the screen, near the bottom. The blasts will be unable to hit you. Even better yet, this boss doesn't require you to actually damage it to a certain point, so just stay in this safe zone and it will die after 15 seconds or so.
