I can see why people don't like this game. As a friend said to me..."If I wanted to watch a movie, I would have bought a DVD." The cinemas are a little long winded, and at times I was finding myself bored with them. The controls could have been a little better also, I found myself having troubles doing exactly what I wanted to do at times. However, the level of detail is amazing, and the puzzles are interesting. The story has a bunch of plot twists, making you raise your eyebrows at times, but scratching your head at other times. Is it a must buy? I think so, but GTA 3 is going to get my Game of the Year vote of MGS 2.
