If there were a Video Game Hall of Fame (I'd think we'd stick it in Redmond, Washington, where Nintendo is headquartered in the U.S.), Ocarina of Time would be in it. ...you know, someone needs to make a video game hall of fame. That would be the most butt-kickingest arcade ever. But I digress.
Honestly. Let the reviews and the piles of 100%'s and the awards and everything else speak for itself. I personally bought it only when the N64 was winding down and Hollywood Video was clearing out the console's titles, and I never even got halfway through before it was time to upgrade to the Gamecube, but I still played enough to love every minute of it. And I don't usually stray from my genres. The graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay is tough but beatable (the highly sought-after 'happy medium'), the music is classic stuff, Link is easy to control, and everything in general just worked perfectly. 5 out of 5. There's really nothing more to say. Hall of Famer. If you still have an N64, there's little excuse for not at least TRYING to find Ocarina of Time.
