This game is one of the best games ever created! I got this game for christmas and just fell in love with it.
Story-10/10: The story in this game is just superb! The cinematics do get a little annoying. And the fact that your characters can actually die adds a nice twist to the games story as you go.
Gameplay-10/10: This game has the best strategic game play off all time! If your strategy fails you might lose one of your key characters. This adds somewhat of a burden but also adds a great amount of depth.
Graphics-9/10: The battle scenes are great, and the maps have a great amount of detail. But I would like to see more detail in the characters when you are looking at the map.
Sound-9/10: Once again, superb! the sound is by far the best of any gameboy game I've played to date, but its not quite up to the caliber of something like Megaman X.
Replay value-10/10:

After you complete the main part of the game you can go back and find things that you didn't notice before, like characters that you missed or characters that died. Also there is a seperate story line that is taken from the viewpoint of Eliwood's right hand man Hector called Hector's Story. This is a slightly modified version of Eliwood's story. Also if you have friends you can duke it out in the battle arena after youve completed the game, or you can go through any of the three story lines again in hard mode. Doing that should keep the dust away from your gameboy for quite sometime.
Summary: This in my opinion is one of the best Strategic games out there. If your looking for an awesome game you will find one in Fire Emblem.
