This game is, in my opinion, the best RPG, and possibly game, since the Atari days. Final Fantasy VII is a masterpeice. Everything is flawless. It perfectly blends cinematics, graphics, storyline, control, and sound to create one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Final Fantasy VII seriously gave the Final Fantasy series (and in my case, Squaresoft) high recognition. After the seventh installment of this series, the following games in the series were devoured by the public, and still today it is selling millions of copies. Capturing action, adventure, emotion, and excitement, Final Fantasy VII is possibly one of the most replayable RPGs there is. I highly recommend that anyone get this game, even if not particularly an RPG fan. I gaurantee Final Fantasy VII can change your mind.
