In pikmin you are an astronaut exploring space, as your ship gets hit by an asteroid you fall to an uncharted planet. Your ship breaks into many pieces and falls to many different parts of the planet. You discover the inhabitants of this planet they are called pikmin, the pikmin aid you in your quest to rebuild your ship and get home.
This game is an exciting adventure with excellent graphics on the pikmin, captain Olimer, and the enemies. The terrain in this game has just as good graphics as the pikmin and monsters which is an odd thing for a game because the makers of games normally use the best of the graphics on the characters rather than working on the scenery as well. This game is kind of let down by its difficulty, when you play the game it is hard at the start but becomes a lot easier a couple of levels through the game. Once you have finished pikmin you can try to beat your time or number of pieces of the ship you have found.
The monsters of this game have a long range of species and the ways that they are killed is excellent because its not like other games where there is no weak point on the enemies, in pikmin they have strategies for every enemy.
