An incredibly linear yet addictive gaming experience. You play as a whole gang of adventurers where noone is the main character (except you, as the tactician ordering your small characters around) where you advance through a tightly written main story. Fire Emblem is a tactical combat RPG, which means you don't explore a world, talk to NPC's or any of that other styff you normally do in RPG's. Instead you concentrate on winning each battle, one after another, as they are stacked upon each other with only short "movie clips" between them to advance the story. If you enjoy tactical combat games (a la Advance Wars), you're going to love Fire Emblem. If you also happen to like RPG's, even better. Fire Emblem satisfies some of your RPG needs too.
