Aquanox 2 is a more story driven affair than Aquanox, which is good. But it is also extremely linear and repetitive, and the voice acting leaves something to be desired. There are more ships and ship parts to play around with in this game (than in Aquanox) and there are more places to visit, with more subquests (no pun intended). The graphics are still nice (if not even better), but again you quickly get tired of green/brown backdrops slowly gliding away underneath your sluggish ship. If they'd made the game into some sort of RPG, and let you freely explore the submerged world of Aquanox and kept the story, this could have been something extra. But as it is now, it's a train ride down a brownish, uninteresting tunnel.
