Sacred can be described as Diablo with brains. It involves a lot of hack 'n slash, but it also implements hundreds of quests and a free form playing style set in a highly detailed game world. If you're an explorer who likes to slaughter hordes of monsters and solve hundreds of easy quests, then this game is definitely for you. If you're a fan of character development and deep, involving plots then this isn't the best game for you. Sacred basically falls short on the deeper elements of computer role playing games but it's an incredibly satisfying gaming experience for the casual user.
