Resident Evil 4 is easily one of the most impressive technical feats ever to grace the console gaming scene. When it first appeared on the Gamecube, it literally blew the socks off of everyone, with its tight story, fantastic graphics, amazing characters (and monsters!) and varied gameplay. Just about a year later it arrived on the Playstation 2, unscathed! The developers weren't satisfied with just doing a fantastic conversion, they decided to add a second five hour story about Ada, one of the sidekicks in the game. The main story is about Leon, an agent sent out to fetch the kidnapped daughter of the president. He ends up uncovering a much bigger plot that involves parasites and mutations. Resident Evil is without a doubt among the finest games ever to grace the Playstation 2.
