Doom 3 is defiantly a great looking game; I'm not here to argue that. But the game play its self is not all that revolutionary. A.I. on the game is not very advanced. Enemies will resort to gang bang attacks, and do not attempt to work as a group or use cover to avoid your return fire. The game merely relies on shear numbers to defeat you. Gripes aside Doom 3 is a fun game, and is good at scaring the living daylight out of you. The lighting in the game is unbelievable, not even Half Life 2 or Far Cry can compete with Doom 3 in a beauty contest. But the Issue of A.I. can't be overlooked in my mind so I gave the game an 8/10.
