"True Crime: The Streets of LA" seems to be to be little more that a nock of "Grand Theft Auto 3", The graphics in True Crime, are nothing special, in fact I would argue that Grand Theft Auto had better graphics. But True crime does have something Grand theft auto doesn't have, and that's a real city, LA, with all the various freeways and side streets traversing the city. It even goes as far to give you the street names, for every road you hop on. As for the game play / physics they are kind of screw, it takes a good 2 or 3 clips to kill a criminal which would seem a little off. Cars tear apart when damaged, but the damage is the same for a 5 mph crash or a 60 mph. Another feature I noticed that didn't seem to work in real life, is that a car a split a tree, going at any speed over 20mph, and we are not talking a little sapling, were talking full grown 3 ft diameter trees. So in my final opinion True crime is a great game, for people who don't care if it's a high resolution PS port or crappie physics. The game can entertain every one for about an hour or 2 but I found myself board with it after that. 7/10
