Your idealistic hack-n-slash. Hordes of enemies, easy button combos, and you. Wait, hasn't this concept been proven before...A half a dozen times? Yes, it has. Dynasty Warriors. To no surprise, Samurai Warriors did not turn heads nor did it fail. Samurai Warriors proves that it's predecessors had the right stuff, and continues to manipulate that fact. They might jsut be re hash of the same old stuff, but that still doesn't make them bad. These games are some of the best, if not the best of it's genre, so why try a new formula? Overall, yet another fun game with lots of replay in the Warrior franchise, but through the whole franchise, this one is worth more as a rent then a buy.
