This game is supposed to revolutionize the RTS genre. The new ideas are interesting but I don't think it will be able to revolutionize anything.
Graphics: really nice. The environment is really nicely done and the terrain has nice elevation. However the buildings look too much alike, it is really difficult to differentiate certain types of buildings.
Sounds: Really good.
Game play: Here is where I find more problems. Maybe it's just because I did not get "into it". But if after the amount of time I spent on the game, I'm still not able to get "into it": there's a problem. The 'terraforming' is supposed to be something new, but it really boils down to having to prepare the terrain before building on it (similarly to Dune 2 when you had to put concrete slabs before building). You can only control squads of unit so it's really difficult to get a good attack. It usually end-up in kamikaze missions. Also the unit limit is ridiculous. The limit is 250 basic units; to create a 10 flying things (I forgot the name) you need 100 of those basic units so you can't build a lot of unit which sucks. Also the units are week compare to how easy it is to build a strong defence. To build structures you just say build this here, and it is build after a bit of time. You cannot put more emphasis on a building or on repairs or other stuff.
