Metroid Prime was one of the first games I got fro my GC. I was a big fan of the GBA Metroid so I dicided to give this one a try. I plugged it in and the first thing I saw was the amazing graphics. These graphics were better than anything on the X-Box and guess what it's on the GameCube,
So when you first get control of Samus you have to go through the whole tutorial thingy and it was just like the one in halo. As I was playing I was getting sucked into this buitiful level and I wanted to just keep playing. That however is kind of hard when the first level boss keeps sending you back.
The level of difficulty in this game is huge. So after I beat the first level, I go on to the second. And after I get to a certain part i see a place that i could go if I rolled into the ball. So I tried about every button three or four times and then I realize that my suit wont allow me to roll into a ball. I was very angry so I played thorugh it agian to see if there was another place to go and there wasnt.
Now I like my FPS a lot but I think this one is just a little to much of a challenge. I would however recommend this only to fans of the past Metroid games even though I think Samus was meant for 2D.
