Mafia on the PC is looked at as one of the greatest GTA clones out there, if not the best. The Xbox game from what I remember was decent but nothing all that special. Now I got a chance to play the Ps2 version which is an atroscity to gaming. From the sound to the graphics to the controls everything in this game just feels broken. I graphics (especially the background) look like they could be a very very good looking Nintendo 64 game. This game fails in about every single department. What was something great is now something horrendous. If this game would have came with out at the same time as the PC version than this game would have gone places, but it didnt so what can you do. The one redeeming quality that this game has is the interesting story and the way that it is told. Most of the time I would say that if a game has a great story its worth playing, but this game is so broken I cannot even say that. I give Mafia on the ps2 a 4/10.
