The most underated racing series is back and this time it is actually been getting somemore publicity which is great. I missed the second series but this game wants you to crash people more than the first game. The first game focused more on driving on the wrong side of the road and getting speed powerups, but in this game it is different, this time it is all about the crashing. Burnout 3: Takedown is all about the takedowns which add to your boost meter, which makes you go super fast and dodge tons of cars that just pop out at you out of no-where not because of pop-up but because you're going so dang fast. This game is finally getting the recognition that it deserves. This game is finally having games that copy it. This game is a great racing game. There are seventy cars and forty tracks and they all look really good, each car specializing in a type of event. Don't forget the awsome crash mode, where you try to make the biggest pile-up you can, but the best part about Crash mode is being able to bring it online or into your living room with some of your friends, atleast to my friends this game brought as much excitment as Halo or Goldeneye. The soundtrack is great too. I dont get why people didn't like the soundtrack, I mean its Warped Tour bands galore. There is Fall Out Boy, Motion City Soundtrack, Midtown, and a whole bunch more. The cool thing is that if you want to buy the soundtrack for this game just go out and get one of the Warped Tour CD's for six bucks becuase if the song isn't there than the band is. The DJ was soo annoying. I wanted to kill him. I really wanted to kill him. He would interrup the best songs with crappy advertisments for EA sports or other stuff about the track that you're at that you don't care about at all. You probablly know him from the SSX 3 game. Yes, that annoying punk. The graphics are great and as you can see it was the second best game to ever come out on the Xbox in 2004. Only behind the all powerful Halo 2. This game is just the best racing game out there right now, because unlike NFS you play it for hours straight and then the repetation of the couple of race modes. The case claims there to be 17. The replay value is a 10/10 because you can play carrer mode, or just do a quick crash mode, or play against your friends on live. You will be playing this game forever.

This is the best racing game out there. It never gets old and the multiplayer is lost of fun too. There is so much here to do that you will be playing for ever. This game is perfect except for the DJ who ruins the great music. The DJ can be shut off though, so that means that this game is a gem, this game is perfect, and it looks and plays really well too.You really need to pick this one up because since it is a greatest hit it is only 20 bucks. This game gets a perfect 10/10. Get this one right now.
