Guitar Hero 2 is probably the best music based game that you will find on any console to date. It might in fact be the best music game ever made, seeing as how most music based games these days are just the same thing just with new re-mixes and stuff like that. Just like I'm sure DDR 2 was considered a classic music game for its time, Guitar Hero 2 also is gonna be a considered a classic music game for its time. The soundtrack is pretty amazing, in my opinion. If you have played Vice City or San Andreas and you listened to the rock stations on those games than you should be pretty familiar with enough songs to warrant a purchase of this game. I would recommend checking out some of the songs before you buy this game. This is because if you are the type of person who pretty much listens to John Mayer and all the other stuff that the radio stations throw at you these days, there is a chance that you may not find any of the songs in this game to be enjoyable to play. The multiplayer is amazing, and you and your friends will probably be up all night at this one playing against and along side each other. Guitar Hero 2 is an amazing game if you like the bands that are available. The one thing that the Ps2 version is missing is the online capabilities that would make new songs available, because even though this game has amazing replay value, you will still probably be getting bored with the songs a couple months after your purchase.

Worth What You Pay (based of purchase agreement): 10/10
Overall: 9.5/10

Purchase Agreement: Check out the song list to make sure you know some of the bands before making a purchase.
