All things being said, the game really isn't any different than the games of old, it's just in 3D. I think that's where most reviewers will find their gripe. When a game is 2d, they are willing to give the game alot of slack for it's nostalgia. Frankly, in TMNT Arcade Game, all you did was hack and slash your way through bad guys and hope you didn't die. Now that the game is 3D, why doesn't it work? The only reason this game is 'bad' is because the last time anyone played a TMNT game was when they were a kid and hacking and slashing just seemed to work and be fun because you were using your turtle of choice. In short, if you are expecting TMNT to have grown up with you, you aren't going to like it, if you are up for just using your favorite character and beating some ninja butt, you'll have a good time. Don't look too much into the game, the old has just had a makeover.
