American Idol? More like American Disaster...
Graphics: 5/10
The graphics were mediocre. I don't care if it's Game Boy, plenty of games have had far better graphics and in those games the characters actually did something
Sound: 7/10
I actually kind of liked the music in this game, I was familiar with some of the songs, so that was nice. I also liked how when you missed beats the character's voice would start to sound worse (not that it sounded good in the first place to begin with).
Gameplay: 5/10
This game is kind of like Britney's Dance Beat gameplay wise. You try to sync your press of the A or B button to the combinations on the screen. It's fun for a while, then it's kind of like you're just mindlessly pushing the A and B buttons.
Replay Value: 3/10
You can play through the game various times to unlock new outfits, but it doesn't really matter, because the graphics are so awful you can barely tell the difference. In the end you will probably end up playing through the game multiple times anyway, just to say you got your thirty dollars worth out of it.
Buy/Rent: Nothing
Avoid this game at all costs! It is awful. Don't even look at this game unless you're a die-hard AI fan because, in that case, I can't stop you anyway.
