Do you ever wanted a football game that would not require years of practice? Did you ever tried to play with a friend and found him dissatisfied because he was not able to win? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then there is the answer: Mario Smash Football.
No fouls, no penalties, no freekicks and no referee. Instead - a pure football essence. This is what the game is!
I will not talk about rules, modes of play, graphics and sound. You will find it all in other reviews. What is most important to me is the multiplayer option of MSF. I have tried Fifas and IIS as party games with poor results. Those games are too difficult to master in a short session. Matches are also too static, too boring to watch.
Mario Football is completely another story. Anyone is able to master it after few minutes (tested!). Thus, a short explanation, few passes to and fro and you have a best party tournament for you and your friends you've ever had with your GameCube! If you are looking for a party game, forget Mario Party and try Mario Smash Football.
