This game immediately became the only game I would play on the Game Boy Advance when I initially purchased it. If you are a fan of turn-based strategy, or even if you are not, this game will convert you. However, if you have yet to purchase it, I would recommend Advance Wars 2 instead. It's the same great gameplay with added features and depth.
However, when this game was originally released, it was the best portable war-strategy game available on any system. I hope that they will release an Advance Wars 3 for the GBA.
