There's a lot of good things about FFVII, which is still fresh several years after it came out. The story is intense, the battle system is complex but cool, and it has one of the best Villians ever. However, compared to later Final Fantasy games (and Square games in general), the graphics are a bit cheezy. A lot of people think that this is the best FF game but there are even better ones out there. JMHO.
