Very good, dark medieval fantasy. VS has a battle system vaguely similar to Square's "Parasite Eve". The storyline is excellent, the graphics are strange and gothic, and the battle system is solid, even though it has a pretty steep learning curve at first. Still that is a minor contention, and this game is as good as any RPG for the PSOne.
