I don't know I guess I'm the odd guy out again when it comes to EA Sports....that or I'm not Sheep like everyone else.
I got Madden 2002 yesterday and I'd love to tell you that it's SO much better then 2001 but I just can't.
I've been playing NCAA2002(and I don't really like College football) And I just think that game is alot more fun.
The running game in NCAA i thin makes all the differences. Madden it just seems if theres a guy thats got to tackle you HE IS going to to tackle you. If you use the moves the fumble more then they should. So being that running the ball...At least for me seems to be more trouble then it's worth I end up throwing the ball then I really want to. I LOVE running the football and you NCAA seems to handle that better then Madden do.
All that extra stuff I couldn't care less about...The Madden cards and all that. Who cares..I just want to play football. The training thing was done very well and was a great Idea but is it THAT much better then last year I'd have to say I don't think so.
If you don't have either MADDEN or NCAA I would rent the both of them play them for a week and pick the one that works best for you.
Me I'm not sure yet...I perfer Pro football but I can't make up my mine which one I will end up keeping
