I gave this game a 7 because I couldn't give it a 6.5
There is one thing that sticks out in this game that stops it from being a Smackdown KILLER......the game speed...it's just to slow. Now I know the wrestlers in this game are older then dirt but still...this game could have been really cool had it not been so slow.
The list of wrestlers is very cool. Lets face it in Smackdown youre the Rock, Stone Cold, The Undertaker or HHH.
Do you really want to wrestle Hardcore Holly Vs. Steve Blackman....NO!
Scotty TOO Hotty vs, anybody...NO!
Also a cool thing is there are no women wrestlers.... Kane Vs.Ivory....Huh..NO!
And YES there is blood....but there are no cage matches,tables,hardcore and no they don't walk out with the Belt(That I will never understand)
But Sabo Vs. Jimmy Superfly S. well thats a pretty cool Idea!
Bret Hart Vs. RVD...hmmmmmm!
There isn't a story line but there really wasn't on in Smackdown either....
So....if you can deal with the lack of speed there are a few cool ideas for matches in this game.
I'd say rent it before you rush out to buy it.
Could have been much better but all in all..... Maybe it will grow on me.
