This game is different.
Very very different. And you won't like it unless you really like (a)American Idol (b)Badly sung Motown songs. And the reason why these Motown songs are so bad is because the singing system, while somewhat original, is bad! I don't want to hear "Respect" by Aretha to be belted horribly out of the GBA(SP)'s speaker because I missed button B on the singing cycle. The system is a circular diagram with your character in the middle there is an arrow that goes around the diagram, you have to time whatever button you need to push right on that arrow. And some of the notes you have to hold, so naturally you have to hold the buttons, easy right? Of course not, but what do you expect from a tv-to-game translation? Thankfully I didn't play the PS2 version so I didn't get to see horrible singing in glorious 3D. Well, as in the words of Simon Cowell;"That was absolutley dreadful."
