Many off you might of know that final fantasy is the most popular and longest running RPG game around the world. Having to sell successfully in both eastern and western culture. Time flys and the tenth series have been released.
First off all. The game starts off when Tidus(main character)who is a superstar blitzball player gets transported 1000 years into the future. Confused and not believing what he hears, he soon meets friends and a shy summoner called Yuna. together they set a journey in finding all the aeons around spira to defeat evil sin.
Final fantasy X is the first final fantasy to hit the PS2. it was first announced back in 2001 where it shocked the world with its impressive high pologon graphic system. every body wanted to get their hands on it.
you may wonder how good it is? well..... its good enough to get non RPG fans into liking it.
GRAPHICS
The graphics in this games really pushes the limit of the PS2. having to view this really puts many game graphics into shame.
but FFX seems tradition compare to FF8 and FF7. the world is filled with temples and not many sci fiction building like FF7,FF8 the characters in the game is impressive, but some of them really are not embrassed on the clothes they wear. But still it has High pologon Characters which even have facial expression in them. Whats even more impressive is the FMV/CG which will make your eyes pop and left your jaws open. You really have to see it to believe it. Its as close to realism than you think.

MUSIC/SOUNDS
It is the first time That any final fantasy games has voice acting in it.
you may ask yourself... well its the first time that FF have put voice acting into the game and you might think that it would come out terrible. but it did not happen. the voices are well presented and it fits correctly into each characters personality.
But sometimes it doesnt really follow the lip movement. But it was Supposed to be japenese right?
the music in this game really lightens up the games atmosphere. it suits every single location the game. you will also heard many fimilar Tunes like the chocobo ranch ect. And the theme song for this game really was impressive. sometimes it you find yourself humming to the tunes even if your not playing the game.

GAMEPLAY
Final fantasy tradition have changed from ATB( active time battle) to TBB (turn base battle) Having previous game to play on ACT FFX makes game easier with TBB. the producer thought that having this battle system into TBB was to help the gamers to take time to think on how to defeat the oppenent. well..... it does work but for FF fans of the previous. they would like to be challenge so that the depth and the lenght of the game would be longer is it was harder.but still its creative and what was great about the battle system is the Changing in party by pressing the L1 it allows you to highlight the Character you want to switch over. Each character have their own Special abillitie for example Tidus is Speed and Power while Lulu magic and Auron is Full power. so choose your character wisely and carefuly for the party. This time round your characters dont level up to get stronger. FFX introduce you into a new system called The sphere grid. Having to win a battle, it would earn you Levels to move your character Around the grid in which you must choose the right route for your character. but if your a hardcore gamer you would want to spend time moving your character around the whole sphere grid which will take very long but would make the game easier as you proceed to the final boss.
The sphere grid maybe hard to understand at first but becomes really interesting as you go on.
FFX maybe the most linear game out of all the FF's. Having no proper World map. (i mean proper) This is a disappiontment as you cant really explore much like the other ff's which was excitement, but also a advantage to new RPGgamers as they dont spend hours and hours trying to find a little spot to get into the next chapter of the story in the world map.
Final fantasy X really is fun at times but still FF cant get rid of the random battles so you will be wondering walking around for a couple of second then you would encounter a battle. FFX is fun but at times when your trying to increase your characters stats...... thats when your bored and wish the game was faster.

When i first play this game. i was locked in my room Playing it for hours and hours non stop. it was so sucked into the game i didnt even realised how much time i spent on it. But anyways. FFX tooked me 5days to complete.( i know it sounded Short) But I played it 8hours a day! so overall it was a massive 40hours of game play. FFX altough maybe the easiest and shortest game to complete. but holds a massive secret and bosses compare to the previous FF's. I would roughly take you ages ( roundabout 100+ hours of game play) to collect everything in FFX even beat the secret bosses which one of them have about 12000000HP ( I know it's huge)and the only way to beat them is to find every each of your characters final weapond which some off them will involve you to do some frustrating mini games like Capture every monster in Spira which took me ages. whats even worse is to make sure that each and every of your character would have been around the sphere grid! Which will take you ages!!
Taking about mini games. FFX Introduce you into some And our favourite is blitzball! Blitzball maybe the greatest mini game out of all the final fantasy. as it's really Fun if you understand how to play the game. At first many people found it hard and didnt really like it because they lost at their first time, but as you understand and learnt the Jecht Shot at the beginning of the game, you would find the game easier and would like to play on and hoping to learn some techniques and win some items. For Hardcore gamers if i was you i would play blitzball because it is required to have you gaining a secret weapond which you would or would not need to beat some of the secret bosses.
Unlike other mini games Blitzball really is fun it really consumes you time.
Remember Chocobo? well.....FFX does contain Thoses yellow birdie like. but you wont be using it much as i can be only used at one area of the game.
FFX really is a patient game. lots of time is needed for you to complete the game aswell as finding everything and completing Blitzball. FFX does Consume time as it is a massive game but if your a Gamer who is not patient..... It's best if you try to.

Overall
FFX does very thing that it needs to be a RPG. Long story plot. Massive amount of secrets. and whats even impressive is the Fantastic Graphics this game has. Altough FF may still need some improvement on the story as It was really typical and linear. But FFX really showed us on how much work has been put into this to created this wonderful Gaming experience. If your reading this. then i suggest you to get the game now and for Non RPG Fans i Hope you would pick up a copy and atleast try as you are missing a wonderful experience in your life!!
