Well in this game you can make your own character, and then when it begins you start to learn how to play get the feel of it and upgrade your stats like any other ordinary Tony Hawk game.  Very good graphics for GBA.  Pretty good sound and if you like holding combos, getting off your board, or a great story line for a skateboarding game I'd say this would probably be great game you would like if you haven't played this game on GBA.  It's kind of hard to get the hang of it at first, but once you get the feel of it you'll be holding combos, scoring 1,000,000 every run, and just be falling in love with this game for this kind of game system.
