First of all let me say that this game is great.
You now have to pick two characters, each with it's own special item/weapon and car.
There are three different classes of characters, light, medium and heavy.
These two things make the gameplay and strategy great.
I was a little disappointed about the lack of courses and lack of shortcuts in courses.
The good thing is that unlike in the N64 version, if you miss a shortcut it doesn't mean that your chances of winning are close to none.
The levels are well designed and the graphics have been improved.
Single player is kind of short and some will complain that the AI is kind of cheap at times. Multiplayer is where the fun really is.
Though some may disagree, I think this one improves on the N64 one and it is one that no Gamecube owner should go without.
