The best way to sum up Ikaruga is: THis is the best shooter ever created. Yes, it truly is. Read on, non believers, and learn why you must own this game.
Now, when I said this is the best shooter ever, I of course mean in its genre. This means No FPS shooters. I just wanted to clear that up. Now, what makes th game so original is its gameplay style. You must switch the color of your ship between white and black to absorb enemy bullets, because your enemies only come in two colors, white and black. This isn't to say there is only two kinds if enemies, no you will come across many types of interesting enemies and see lots of bosses.
The graphical quality is amazing. Not that you will notice, the game is very fast paced and frantic, so noticing graphics will be in your spare time (not very often).
Overall, I just love this game. Fun, fun, and fun a again!!
