Of all the games I've played Final Fantasy X is the only one I'd rank as my number 1. It was my first Final Fantasy I played (Ya I know I late to join the Final Fantasy bandwagon.) and it didn't disapoint. The graphics are awesome and the sound is even better. the gameplay is great but the story was the best part. I loved the story of Yuna and Tidus. I know alot of people didn't like Yuna for one reason or another but she was my favorate character.
But enough favorates, here's the bits and pieces.
Graphics: As I said the graphics are awesome and unlike previous FFs the backround isn't prerendered as it's all 3-D. The cut scenes are amazing and really inhance the best scenes of FFX. The Spring scene is epic and easily the best cutscene I've seen.
Sound: Only ont thing I can say about Final Fantasy's soundtrack - a masterpiece,I even bought the 4 disc soundtrack after I beat the game. The music fits the story well and brings the cut-scenes to life.
Gameplay: FFX is a turn base RPG with a few unique extras. For instance, summons are now playable like a character. Insted of gaining levels through EXP as in other FFs, you now get AP. With enough AP you can make moves on the spheregrid and manually choose what stat to level up. This is great for those who want to max there stats out.
Story: Personally the best story I've seen in a game. But maybe because I was already into that kind of story with the Japenese Anime I watch. The story was sad and words can't describe the ending. This was my favorate part of FFX and the biggist reason I'd recommend it.
Replayability: Lot's... If your into stat maxing that is. It took me 40 hours to beat the game for the first time and I've spent another 200 hours stat maxing and making weapons.
Overall: Although it's my favorate game it does have some flaws like lip-synching and such that keep it from being perfect. But all in all the greatest game I've played in my first 16 years of gameing. A must play for any RPG lover!
