Goldeneye was the first shooter I played and it proved to be worth it's weight in gold. I've probally put 400+ hours on it and loved every moment of it.
Graphics: For the N64, Goldeneye had great graphics that were only slowed when 8-12 mines were set off at once.
Sound: The sound of Goldeneye was for the most part crisp and clear. The sound effects were well done for it's time as was the typical James Bond music.
Gameplay: This is where the game really shined. The controls were easy to learn and the gameplay was intense.
Overall: Goldeneye was the stepping stone for console shooters like Halo, and Timespliters. And for that it's worth playing. I suggest Goldeneye to anyone who enjoys classic games, and shooters.
