The idea behind Killzone was good. You play as one of four who turn the tide in a losing battle. The story wasn't as good as it could have been. But then again I've seen worse. The graphics are great at first until you start noticing the flaws. The guns are awsome but the turrets were the most satisfing I've seen. The game had good head movement and walking felt realistic. But the flaws pulled the game down.
For instance, when you walk up to a teammate it takes a few seconds for his face to load. How about the lack of physics in the game or the terrible ragdoll. When you walk through the levels you can see grass loading and things like rocks disappearing. The enemys say the samething over and over. The sound glitched on my copy so the sound of my guns reloading was muted or just not there.
The part that impressed me the most was the atmosphere. It felt gritty and rough and for that I have to give Guerrilla credit. But overall it lacks the polish of other shooters that make Killzone look rushed or unfinished.
