Max Payne was a great game. Max Payne 2 is somthing less. When I hopped the game in my PS2 I was ready for loads of fun shooting action. The game has that but what I do not understand is why this is such a bad port from the pc.
The loading times are horrible, there long and boring. Try to skip a cutscene and you will get a loading time. The graphics are tolerable but still lack in certin areas. AI is also tolerable but can be stupid in gun fights. Bullet time I am glad to say is back and at its best this time around.
Now as to the story its ok but a little over the edge and predictable. Cop gets badge taken away goes in with guns blazing to solve the case.
In the end the game is mediocre in all aspects except maby the story and in bullet time. But I suggest if all you have is a PS2 to try Max Payne 2. But rent it.
