Well. This sucked big time. Personally I couldnt understand how Squaresoft could drop quality so low after FFVII and so i only expected the best. Unfortunatley what came out was the silliest plotted, most boring RPG i have ever played. The game has improved graphics from 7, which of course, is expected after 2 years, but nothing else seems to go in the upwards direction. I found that the main characters included in this game were all very wooden, and that Squall was very dull and didnt live up to much. The attempted love story between Squall and Rinoa wasnt too groundbreaking either. Another part of this game that irritated me was the SEED rankings. What on earth made square decide upon that!? Surely sitting exams is the least thing you want to do when playing a fantasy game! Overall, I think that moving to any other Final Fantasy game will be a step upwards from this trash. Or even better, go play Breath of fire 3 and humour yourself on how much better it is than it.
