Improved a hundred times over from the original, Warcaft 2 will remind you why games are so fun to play and how games should be enjoyed. From sea, to land, to air, to humor and war, it's all here in the best strategy game to exist today. Even though this game is 10 years old, it still plays like a gem and shows us how simple war games can still be fun.
You can choose between 2 races: orc or human which each have there own advantages with their own specialized troops. Some examples of warriors are footman, archers, mages, ogres, trolls, and death knights, more than enough to keep you happy trying to defend your base and attack the enemy's base at the same time. With great sound effects and a good musical composition, Warcaft will make you feel as if you are right there in the action. Did I mention that there is quite a lot of humor in this game? Well play it to find out what I mean.
The only downside are the graphics since it is very simple and straight forward, but that is how this game was meant to look like and all its colorful scenery and characters will make up for it.
Warcraft 2 has brought me many happy gaming hours and I still find myself playing a game or two these days.
