Battlefield 2 is a masterful FPS shooter on the PC with sleek graphics and great gameplay. However; the game doesn't translate that well to the consoles. It feels like a generic FPS that happens to have the same name as the brilliant PC version. The real thing that sets this game apart though is the intriguing HotSwap feature that allows you to switch between the positions at any time. This allows you to get into the action and it really enhances the gaming experience. One problem is with the vehicle controls, they feel sort of clunky and difficult to control. Despite being very generic and somewhat... boring. EA has produced a solid game in Battlefield 2.
