LOK defiance, is quite an interesting game. Graphicely the game is really in it's best shape: The environement textures reflects and incredible sens of luxurious spaces. The characters are very well done, although the face of Kain with it's broken eyebrowse is a bit too detracting. The lighting effects is par with the old Raziel games. Sounds: i must give a great feedback to the guys who made the underworld sounds, because just to ear that is quite scary and an atmospheric experience by itself. But to be fair, it's one of the very strong point of this game, including the magnificient voices over of the series. Gameplay: Combat are easy enouph to master, and although their is some combos, they are not all required to beat the bosses. The story is wonderful and very deep, even thou it gets a bit complex in the end. In that sens, since the original LOK, it's the best one to date. Playing Raziel and Kain separetely is very enjoyable, and experiencing the story from their point of view is quite a bright idea. Their is one major annoyance in this game, and it's the camera system. I don't know what the creators though when they did it, but it's quite atrocious. Camera is too low on jumps, switch at akward moments, obstruct your angle of view, hide some ennemies during combat. The camera system wasn't broken in Raziel and was pretty good, why have they changed it for something this weak ? Anyway, the game is still really good, even thou the camera can get in the way.
