Need For Speed: Most Wanted can be considered to bring together 2 of the editions of the Need For Speed series, namely, Need for Speed:Hot Pursuit 2 and Need for Speed Underground 2. In other words, you'll be driving expensive cars which can be tuned to your liking, while beating other street racers and at the same time escaping from the police.
When playing the game for the first time, the combination of both gameplays brings in new bursts of adrenalin and will scotch you in front of your pc for hours. However, after a while, it becomes kind of a repeating pattern: race here, race there, beat this racer to unlock this stuff, etc, etc. However, the game is worthwhile because, well, you usually want to unlock all the cars and different 'tunings' which you can make your car undergo. Some new improvements like 'markers' which you choose after beating other street racers makes the game attracting. New comers to the Need For Speed series will find the game mind-blowing but old-runners like me who went from NFS 1 to NFS:MS while going through NFSU2, will find the game a tad boring after a while.
Graphics, music, control are as usual impressive and makes the game worthwhile.
