(Former) Squaresoft takes the game play of Final Fantasy and gives us new characters to play as in Chrono Trigger. Travel back thousands of years to the age of the dinosaurs and stop Lavos and his minions from destroying the world in the past. Or travel to the end of time and plan your strategy to beat Lavos in the future.
Chrono Trigger is a great game to roll play. Graphics and music are great for the year this games was developed. The story is about a boy how wakes up one morning and goes to a fair to meet his friends. At the fair, some weird events cause him to travel through a time portal which drops him a few hundred years previous to the year of the fair. Through his adventures, he meets new friends, and makes enemies with some bad dudes.
Chrono Trigger is in my top 25 games of all time. The game has a replay value when I want to remember the story better. It is hard to win though. Lavos (the end boss) is a psycho turtle creature who is really hard to beat.
