Super Metroid is by far my favorite game of all time. This game is what made me fall in love with Samus.
Super Metroid has a great mix of music, weapons, puzzles, and bad guys that test your button mashing abilities.
Samus is a warrior and space frontier bounty hunter who is asked to go to the far reaches of space to defeat the fearsome pirate known as "the Mother Brain." The Mother Brain and her band of pirates have been here before. Infact, Samus has beat almost all these bad guys in the original NES version of this game. They return and want Samus to suffer a horrible, painful end. But Samus comes back to fight them with new weapons and better abilities than she had before. And this time, she may have an ally. That is "IF" the baby metroid she rescued (in the "Metriod II" game on gameboy) remembers who she is.
Oh the heroics, drama and excitement. Get this game and keep it forever. I play this game once a year since I bought it, and I never tire of it. I fear my SNES is going to die out on me soon. Oh the horror and pain. What would I ever do without this game?!
