After play KI in the Snes system, i must confess what the expectative about KI Gold was enormous, but when i play it, a piece of my joy has broken. The game isn't bad, far from this, but you'll feel he lack the charm of his predecessor. The technical aspects are all okay, graphics convince very well, with detailed movements for a fight game, beautiful scenarios, and the gameplay still carry the combo-based system (expanded, of course) from original KI, that everybody loves, but the soundtrack could have been better worked, if you remember the "killer cuts" from Snes...
The thing is, KI Gold it is not so good as the version of Arcades (KI 2), but have plenty of fun to offer for those who liked the innovative combo-system of the series, and new characters, like Tusk, Kim Wu, Maya e Gargos (the new boss).
Enjoy, but don't wait so much from this sequel.
