True Crime is a mixture of several different games combined to make one very decent game.  With the ability to drive through LA, driving while shooting, go through stealth action levels, bullet time while diving, pat people down to confiscate their weapons and arrest them, and drive while you are shooting, True Crime has a lot to offer.  The city is not as interactive as I would like it to be though.  You can go to dojos to learn fighting moves, gun ranges to acquire better hand guns, and driving school to earn new vehicles.  The problem is these little courses can be difficult sometimes and it takes a lot of time to build up enough badges to buy your way in.  Weapons you confiscate don't last long either.  If you want to succeed in this game you have to be a really good cop.  This makes it different than your ordinary hi-jacking cars and shoot em up game.  Levels are mostly shooter missions or fighting missions.  Fighting can be really difficult because combos don't always work right.  All three endings have difficult boss battles through the game and at the end but one of the coolest is where you race a Pink lookalike and then whoop her butt except she is one of the tough bosses and can take you out really easy if you mess up even once.  The music in the game is not selectable either.  If you don't like rap you will probably hate driving.  All in all this is a great game despite its flaws.  And you can Play as Snoop Dogg too.  Give this one some consideration, especially if you're looking for some M-rated action on your Cube.  4/5
