God of War is a top-notch action/adventure game done in the true style of Greek mythology. There has never been a game like this before and this attempt at doing the legends justice deserves a great deal of respect. With such a great character of Kratos also comes a great story to back him up. The battles are intense and time consuming especially on hard mode when you keep getting killed. The souls of your fallen enemies power up your weapons and you must plunder for all the health and magic power-ups you can find. This is sure to be a classic for many years to come even with the PS2-graphics. Put this game on a system with some real lighting effects and you could have the most instense game ever. Well move over Prince and Dante. There's a new beat em' up puzzle solving maniac in town. 10/10
